The DFW CPG Showcase at Smurfit Westrock was a vibrant celebration of North Texas consumer brands, bringing together emerging startups and established players under one roof. From gourmet snacks and drinks to wellness innovations and retail-ready solutions, the variety and quality of exhibitors reflected the strength and creativity of the local CPG community. Smurfit Westrock did a fantastic job hosting, providing an organized, engaging space that encouraged real collaboration.

What stood out most was the genuine spirit of support and idea-sharing among founders, suppliers and buyers. Events like this remind us why DFW is becoming a serious hub for CPG growth. Thanks to Derek Ramos and all of the hard-working volunteers who made this event so amazing, especially Cesar Bustamante, Tim Prager, Brandi, Karen, Yuttana and the DFW CPG President, Jenica Oliver.

SubSummit 2025 in Dallas delivered big on energy, insights, and industry connections. From dynamic keynotes to actionable breakout sessions, the event brought together some of the most forward-thinking leaders in the subscription space. The exhibitor floor was packed with tools and services driving real growth, and the networking opportunities, from curated meetups to casual happy hours. Whether you’re scaling a DTC brand or launching your first subscription, SubSummit proved itself once again as the go-to event for staying ahead in this fast-evolving industry.

Big News for Home Producers
Starting September 1, 2025, Texas’s updated cottage food law will allow home-based food businesses to sell more items including certain refrigerated goods like cheesecakes, and raise the sales cap from $50,000 to $150,000. The law also lets producers offer samples, sell wholesale, and remove home addresses from labels, making it easier for small food entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.
