GoTexan Pavillion

Yep, it’s time for the State Fair of Texas and companies from near and far are trying to grab the attention of attendees who are flooding in from all over the state and beyond. DFW CPG member, Pat Fabulous, Senior Account Manager at Belle’s Popcorn in Carrollton, opted to place their products in the GoTexan Pavillion, a “store” within the Fair where many Texas-based companies sell their wares. The Fair is open every day till October 20th.

Let’s Grow at Events
Fall is event season! If you’re looking for venues to showcase your products, Mason Ice, the Brand Experience Leader with Purpose Tea, suggests to check sites like Eventeny.com to find options in your area. Local companies, The Boho Market and SBGospitality offer events all around the state and you can even host one yourself. Or apply to have your own weekly or bi-weekly booth at GoodLocalMarkets.com, an east Dallas Farmers Market with 2 locations. What are some of your favorite markets and events?

Thank You
A huge thanks to Jeff Breazeale, founder of The Matchbox Studio, a top boutique ad agency in Dallas, for a fantastic Huddle on Sept. 26. Jeff gave us an insider’s view to the creative process as he walked through development of a real company’s branding, style and image. It was a fascinating peek into a genuine Mad Men agency – but right in our own backyard. If you missed Jeff’s presentation, you can download his slides here.
